ABOUT US: President's Message

Term: June 1, 2011, through May 31, 2012

It is an honor to serve as the President of the Mortgage Bankers and Brokers Association for 2011-2012. Our industry has endured many challenges over the past few years and I applaud our members for working together to adjust to new regulations and requirements. I thank our board of governors, committee chairs and committee members for volunteering their time to provide us with the appropriate education, legislative information, and programs to our membership.

Over the past few years I have traveled with other members numerous times to Washington, DC to meet with legislators as well as the Federal Reserve Bank on behalf of the MBBA-NH. We have also spent many hours with our state representatives and regulators as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and SBA Office located in Boston, MA. The MBBA-NH has established the strong relationships necessary to ensure our voices are being heard as we continue to advocate for our industry.

In the year ahead I look forward to continuing the traditions of our organization as well as enhancing our communication, providing a forum for new innovative ideas, and growing our membership and programs. I ask that you do business with other members and support those who support you. Challenges will arise and as Henry Ford once said “coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
