How to Protect Yourself in Today's Market:  Issues of Ethics, Fraud, and Privacy will be taking place on Thursday, September 13, 2007, at the Manchester Country Club, 180 South River Road, Bedford, New Hampshire, from 9:00 A.M. to 12 P.M.  Registration and continental breakfast will take place from 8:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M.  Cost to attend is $50/members and $1000/non-members.  Pay by credit card online below.  VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Program Description:

This seminar provides a perfect opportunity for you to learn how to protect yourself in today's market.   All mortgage finance professionals are required to know and understand the issues of privacy, ethics, and fraud in the mortgage finance industry.

New Hampshire Banking Department Commissioner Peter Hildreth will begin the seminar with an overview of the state of New Hampshire mortgage finance industry.  He will talk about the top issues uncovered during examination of licensees and if his department plans on introducing legislation that will affect the mortgage finance industry in the fall.

  • What is confidentiality, data security, and privacy?

  • How can  you avoid common missteps of ethics?

  • Where is fraud prevalent in the mortgage finance process?
