How to Avoid a Repeat of This Mess
Good economists don't know what happened.  Securitization did not cause the crisis; nothing changed in 2004.  There were enthusiastic borrowers, and there were enthusiastic investors.  Both thought house prices would continue to increase.

Come to this informative session.  You will learn new reasons why the mortgage meltdown took place from an economist whose focus has been on the mortgage finance industry for many years.  You will also learn what is being done to ensure that history does not repeat itself.
